Care Instructions
To maintain garment quality:
- Hand wash cold only
- Use mild detergent
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Air dry only
- Iron on low heat inside-out or use steam
- Do not iron embellishments
Sizing
PLEASE NOTE
Each House of Arissa mukhawer is individually sourced and may vary slightly in fit, cut and measurements. Our mukhawers are designed to have a naturally loose, flowing fit. Please refer to the individual product description for the specific measurements and fit of each piece.
If you prefer a more fitted look, you may wish to consider sizing down where available. Any alterations required are the customer’s responsibility and must be arranged at the customer’s own expense.
Our garments feature delicate embellishments, including hand-applied gems and stones. Due to their delicate nature, embellishments may loosen or fall out through wear, friction or handling. This is an inherent characteristic of embellished garments, so please take extra care when wearing, storing and caring for your mukhawer.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the garment’s individual fit, delicate embellishments and care requirements.
Unstitched Collection
PLEASE NOTE
Our Unstitched Collection includes fabrics and materials supplied without finished stitching or tailoring. These items are sold as unfinished pieces only.
Customers are responsible for arranging all stitching, tailoring, alterations and finishing themselves. Any tailoring expenses, alterations or costs associated with producing a finished garment are the customer’s responsibility and are not covered by House of Arissa.
Unstitched items are not eligible for return or refund due to change of mind, incorrect size chosen after tailoring, or because the customer chose not to have the piece stitched. This applies alongside all other terms of this policy.
Please note that loose threads, raw edges and unfinished hems are a natural characteristic of unstitched fabric and are not considered faults. By purchasing from the Unstitched Collection, you acknowledge and accept that the item is supplied unfinished and that all stitching, tailoring arrangements and costs are your responsibility.
Loose Threads & Delicate Finishes
PLEASE NOTE
Occasional loose threads, minor pulls, or small surface fibres can occur on finished garments as part of normal production and wear. These are not considered faults and can usually be safely trimmed or removed with care.
This applies to all House of Arissa garments, including ready-to-wear dresses and finished pieces, as well as unstitched fabrics. If you are unsure whether an issue is a fault, please contact us before returning or altering the item.
Fabric Note
Fabric composition is listed on garment labels in accordance with UK textile law. Texture-based descriptions (e.g. silk-feel) are for styling reference only.
Care Responsibility
We are not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow care instructions.
Safety Notice
Some garments and packaging may include embellishments, small decorative components, or plastic packaging materials. These may present a choking hazard. Keep away from infants and young children. Customers are responsible for safe use and disposal of packaging.
